Q. How do I find ...?
Answer
An E-journal
- Click the Journals tab above the search box, then enter the title of a journal or its ISSN
- Click the Available Online link under the results
- You will see a list of databases that carry the full text of the journal. Dates will vary, so check the available dates against the date that you need.
An Article
- Enter keywords for the subject that you're researching
- Select "Everything" from the dropdown search result options
- From the left hand side filter: Select "Articles" from the "Material Type"
- Click the Online Available link under each article title for ways to access the full text
A database
- Click the Databases link above the search box to go to our list of Databases
- You can browse for Databases by title or subject or search the list by keyword
A book
- Click the Books tab above the search box, then enter keywords describing the topic or title you’re looking for [NOTE: the advanced book search does not have all the fields that the other options do (no ISBN or Call # options). Submitted to feedback form]
Course Reserves
- Click on the Course Reserves link above the SEARCH box
- Search by a title, a course name or ID, or the name of the instructor or department OR
- Go to Advanced Search
- Click on Course Reserves
- Use boxes to search for items
