The Educational Leadership Program at Stony Brook University has adopted the Digital Library from Pearson Education as the new delivery method for your textbooks and digital course materials.
The Digital Library is customized to the Stony Brook Educational Leadership program and gives you access to all of the required and supplemental Pearson eTexts and MyEdLeadershipLab courses used across the program for a low subscription price of $250 for the entire year, regardless of how many courses you take. This new option will save you hundreds of dollars over the course of your program. If you were to purchase all your books new, you would spend approximately $1270; if you were to purchase them all used, you would spend approximately $952.50. By comparison, the digital library will cost you $250 for 12 months of access.
Instead of purchasing your Pearson eTexts and MyLab courses individually this semester, you should purchase a Digital Library access code through the Stony Brook University Bookstore. The Digital Library subscription lasts for 365 days from the point when you activate your access code and includes options to purchase low-cost black-and-white, three-hole punched print versions of many of your texts or extended digital access to individual titles. No longer will you have to lug heavy books from home to work to school! Instead, you can access your content whenever and wherever you need it on your computer, iPad, iPad mini, or 10” Android tablet. (Please note that a particular instructor may require a low-cost supplementary text from another publisher in addition to the Digital Library.)
Stony Brook University prides itself on providing visionary leadership and superior leadership preparation. As K-12 districts adopt digital curricula and delivery methods at an ever increasing rate, it is important that you are prepared for success in the field by using a digital curriculum experience that enhances your learning. This Digital Library will provide each student with a wealth of information through access to all the Educational Leadership titles available through Pearson that can be used throughout the program, including test prep.
