You can fill out the Online Course Reserve Request Form or you can fill out a Reserve Book and/or Periodical Request form in person. Please allow up to one week to process requests.
For more information about Regular Course Reserves, as well as placing material on Blackboard E-Reserves or placing Audio-Visual material on Reserve, please see the links below.
If you have questions about a course reserve please contact the Reserves Department at reserves@stonybrook.edu.
Material that is on reserve has a shorter circulation period and may be restricted to use in the Library.
Material is placed on Reserve for one (1) semester. At the end of the semester, all print material is removed from Reserve unless a new request is submitted.
To ensure that students have access to Reserves material at the start of classes, please submit your Reserves Requests by the following dates:
Fall Semester – July 30
Winter Semester – November 30
Spring Semester – November 30
Summer Semester – April 30
