Q. May retirees from Stony Brook University take books out from the library?

Retired Stony Brook University personnel may borrow books from the Melville Library through the Courtesy Borrower program. Please email or call the Circulation Department (circulation@stonybrook.edu or 631.632.7115) for more information.

The Stony Brook University Libraries offers interlibrary loan and lends to libraries worldwide.  If you are requesting a book through your local public library, the interlibrary loan staff at that library will determine where to get the item(s) requested.
