There is no longer an official U. S. Postal Service office on campus.
Campus Residences provides mailing services for parcels, Priority, Express and First Class mail in the Irving Residential Mailroom, which is located in Mendelsohn Quad (to the right of the Student Union) from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturday. Call (631) 632-4746 for more general information.
Mailboxes for outgoing stamped letters are available at the following locations:
- The SAC Loop at Engineering Drive
- Behind the Student Union, near the parking lots
- Basement level of the Melville Library Building in front of the FedEx Store
- Chapin Hall
- Hospital Garage
The FedEx Office Print Service Center basement level of the Melville Library building (Room E0320). Please contact them directly for pricing and instructions.
The FedEx Office Print Service Center provides quick turn-around black and white and color copies, large format printing for posters, banners and signs, packing and shipping services and supplies, direct mail services, "kitting" for presentation pieces, and a summer storage program.
Suffolk County Bus Transit S60 (going east) stops at the East Setauket Post Office, and the S76 (going west) stops near the Post Office in Stony Brook Village. For more information on bus schedules, visit www.sct-bus.org
