You may visit and borrow from most of the SUNY campus libraries.  There may be exceptions for borrowing so be sure to check with the library you are visiting in advance.

You may visit all members of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL).  Some ARL members in the area are: Columbia, NYU, and Yale.  Here is a full list of ARL members. Prior to your visit, contact the library that you are visiting for visitors' information.

To visit the other non-SUNY academic libraries on Long Island, contact them first. Some libraries are open to the public, while others may require a request form from the Reference at Stony Brook University Libraries.  Contact a Librarian for further assistance if a request form is need.
