You can use the Ulrichsweb library database to check if the journal that the article published in is peer-reviewed or not.  Use the journal title to check but not the article title.  If you see the referee jersey icon referee jersey icon on the left hand side of the journal that you are checking, then the journal is peer reviewed. 

Please note that only original research articles in that journal are peer-reviewed but not editorials and book reviews.

You can also visit the website of the publication that an article is published in and read about it's review process and editorial practices.
