Stony Brook Alumni are entitled to Courtesy Borrower privileges. To register as a Courtesy Borrower, alumni need to obtain a Lifetime Alumni card from the Alumni Office. There is no fee for the card. Contact the Circulation department to set up an appointment to create your Alumni Library account (circulation@stonybrook.edu). Bring the card, along with a valid photo ID, to the third floor Circulation Desk in the Main Library Stacks.
Alumni do not have off-campus access to our databases. There is a computer for visitor use in the North Reading Room where the databases can be used while on campus.
