DARE is an acronym for "Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects" and is available as part of the Cochrane Library. The Cochrane Library is available from the Health Sciences Library database list. This database contains details of systematic reviews that evaluate the effects of healthcare interventions and the delivery and organization of health services. DARE also contains reviews of the wider determinants of health such as housing, transport, and social care where these impact directly on health, or have the potential to impact on health.
To locate DARE within the Cochrane Library, on the left side of screen under Browse Other Resources click on Other Reviews (DARE).
