There is no longer an official U. S. Postal Service office on campus.

The USPS Store in the basement of the Melville library sells individual stamped envelopes. The Matthews Bookstore on level 2 of the Health Sciences Center sells individual and books of stamps.

Campus Residences provides mailing services for parcels, Priority, Express and First Class mail in the Irving Residential Mailroom, which is located in Mendelsohn Quad (to the right of the Student Union) from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturday. Call (631) 632-4746 for more general information.

Mailboxes for outgoing stamped letters are available at the following locations:

  • The SAC Loop at Engineering Drive
  • Behind the Student Union, near the parking lots
  • Basement level of the Melville Library Building in front of the UPS Store
  • Chapin Hall
  • Hospital Garage

The UPS Store service points in the basement level of the Melville Library building (Room E0320) and in the lobby of the Student Union. Please contact them directly for pricing and instructions.
