An item that is currently checked out can be recalled for another borrower. The borrower with the item receives a recall notification and must return the item within 14 days of the notice. Recalled material that is not returned by the new due date will be fined at $1 per day.
To place an item on recall, go to the Circulation Desk at your library.
All library materials, except AV (audio-visual) items and items on Reserve, are subject to recall at any time. A notification letter or e-mail will be sent out to the original borrower if an item has been recalled, alerting him/her of the recall due date.
