The Library has the Stony Brook Statesman, the first student newspaper, going back to its first issue in 1958, when it was called Sucolian (State University College on Long Island)

You can now browse and search the Statesman archive on DSpace, the SUNY Digital Repository

You can also view some of the non-circulating original print issues (call number OVERSIZE xx AP2 .S77) in the Main Stacks and the Special Collections and University Archives.  However, you will need to make an appointment with the Special Collections and University Archives for viewing.
