The New York Times is available from the first issue in 1851 until today's current issue.  Unfortunately, the New York Times Company does not offer an institutional subscription to their web site, so issues from the last three months are restricted to a text-only version that's available online through LexisNexis Academic and Factiva, or the actual printed newspaper that is available in the second floor library core, accessible through the North Reading Room of Melville Library.

The complete newspaper is available online from 1851 to three months ago in the following databases:
