The Library has several online historic newspaper collections:
- Early American Newspapers 1755-1922.
- New York Times (Historical) 1851-3 years ago.
- Times of London Digital Archive 1785-1985
- Washington Post Archive (1877-1994)
If you are looking for more recent history, you can try these library databases:
- LexisNexis Academic from about 1980-present
- Wall Street Journal from about 1980-present
- Newsday 1985-present
- Ethnic NewsWatch 1990-present
We also have many historic newspapers available in microforms. You can search for these by the title of a newspaper in the Library Catalog (STARS). For example: New York Herald, Chicago Tribune, etc.
