The following are some great resources for locating peer-reviewed articles on topics for lab reports:
- Web of Science
- Biological Abstracts
- MEDLINE with Full Text
- Encyclopedia of Life Sciences for introductory articles and "other references"
To access any of these, go to the University Libraries homepage (http://library.stonybrook.edu) and click the 'databases' link in the top left Search box area. Once you are on A-Z Databases page you can Find Databases by Title, or click on the letter that corresponds with the database - i.e. - W for Web of Science. Then scroll down until you see the database.
