To access any of our online resources (ejournals, ebooks, databases, etc.) from off-campus, you simply need your NetID and NetID password.
If you know the specific journal you want, click the 'eJournal titles' link in the top left Search box area on the library homepage and type in the title of the journal. You will see which databases have the journal and for which years. When you click on one of the links, you will be asked for your NetID and NetID password.
If you aren't looking for a specific journal but want to search several journals at the same time, try one of our databases. Go to the University Libraries homepage (http://library.stonybrook.edu) and click the 'databases' link in the top left Search box area. At the A-Z Databases page you can Find Databases by Title, Browse By Subject for your subject area, or Browse by Alphabetical Title. When you click on a database, you will be asked for your NetID and NetID password.
